Wendy’s most recent passion began around 2017 where she became curious about building relationships with trees and plants and how to commune and communicate with them. Spending more and more time in the forest, she became aware of how we influence and impact each other; entering into reciprocating relationship, honoring the plant kingdom for their intelligence and wisdom, yet also understanding that we can offer them gifts as well; of our attention, of our appreciation, of our voices, of our love. They love being appreciated and seen! These relationships have been profoundly life altering!  Wendy now facilitates community gatherings to invite others into this relationship building with the natural world…of which we are an integral part!

M.P.E. (Ex. Phys.)

Tori has been working as a manual therapist for over 30 years and continues to embrace a passionate enthusiasm for learning about the human body.

She believes that her role as a practitioner is to aid in facilitating a client’s pursuit of health and well being. In her clinical experience Tori has found that this necessitates honouring and empowering each person’s own innate ‘body’ wisdom regarding healing and function.

She believes that the effectiveness of this facilitation also requires that client’s participate fully in the process.

Tori’s educational background includes:

  • B.Sc. (Hon. Kinesiology - Waterloo) 1984

  • M.P.E. (Exercise Physiology - U.B.C.) 1988

  • Massage Therapy Diploma (Sutherland-Chan) 1994

  • Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice
    (Canadian College of Osteopathy) 2009

  • Faculty at Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School (Physiology & Hydrotherapy) 1996-2000

The Mugwort initiation was a beautiful, in-depth, nourishing group experience. Around a dozen creative-spirited, empathetic people gathered to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the strong, nourishing presence of Mugwort plants. We ingested an elixir prepared by Wendy several times over the course of a long weekend, and in various creative, exploratory ways shared how she moved within us and among us. We not only got to know Mugwort more, we learned more about ourselves and each other in a deep, lively and supportive way. I feel it was a wonderful gift from the universe to be able to participate in this experience, which was beautifully guided by Wendy, with the help of Juliette, in an inspiringly peaceful countryside retreat setting.
